Start Your Shimmies

So the first class of the semester started tonight. I had 29 students show up. I ran out of all my handouts before everyone could get one!!

Aside from running out of handouts, I forgot to bring a sign-in sheet for the class and I also forgot to bring change when they paid for the class. Sigh, it never fails that even with all the best preparation time and effort put in, you still for get stuff.

We're still trying to get all the dates figured out for dress rehearsals and performances for this session. I'm also hoping that I might be able to find some belly dancing jokes to tell at the beginning of class. Or maybe I'll teach them one Arabic word during each class. That might be fun.
